PAYROLL

On-Boarding New Employees
AS NEEDED

When a new employee joins, they complete their Employee Information Form — at home is fine, but it must be
followed up until 100% complete. If it's incomplete, they cannot be paid until it is.

Superannuation
   • If they have no super fund, they choose one
   • If they say “any fund is fine,” the default is AMP (Signature Super ABN), per the form
   • They sign up themselves, ideally with you alongside them: amp.com.au/superannuation/join — incomplete
super details are the most common cause of delayed payments, so this step matters

Once forms are complete
[Accounts Administrator] Accounts Administrator scans the Employee Information Form, driver’s licence,
Wage Subsidy Agreement (if applicable), and anything else relevant.
[Accounts Administrator] Saves and forwards the documents to Accounts/Bookkeeper for archiving and
   processing.
[Accounts Administrator] Prints and files hardcopies (including licence) in the employee folder.
[Accounts/Bookkeeper] Accounts/Bookkeeper enters the employee into the MYOB Payroll System,
double-checking every detail against the forms.
[Accounts/Bookkeeper] Once entered, confirms the employee’s documents are saved into the SharePoint
Payroll & HR folder under their name.
